So... darker natural earth tones are my standard if you hadn't already noticed how much the tile image for this blog post stood out from the others, ha! But I've held the goal of flexing my creative muscles more lately, and styling is something I'd very much like to embed into my practice. I see my work less as the work of a wedding photographer, but more like a bespoke storytelling experience where my couples end up with pieces of art that intimately and personally tell the story of them. So, nailing a particular look is important to me - it means that I can work with my clients on their unique vision to create something for them that stands out from all the other weddings out there.
I have a fine art and design background - and many other photographers I've met have come from some other creative background. These roots are something that I think never leaves us when we break into photography. Instead, these interests come together to create something new and better. So you'd best believe I'm going to make you look cool as hell.
